If you’re into live music, good vibes, and stunning scenery, then Taubertal Festival 2025 should definitely be on your radar. Set in the gorgeous valley just below Rothenburg ob der Tauber, this legendary open-air festival is happening from August 8–10, and it’s shaping up to be a weekend to remember.
Thousands of fans flock to this little corner of Bavaria each year to catch a lineup that mixes top-name international performers with fresh new talent. From indie rock and punk, hip-hop and electronic sounds, there’s something for everyone. Even though the official lineup is packed with headliners and crowd favorites (YUNGBLUD; Papa Roach; Kontra K), the best thing about Taubertal may be stumbling upon new artists while dancing in the grass with a beer in hand.
What makes this festival so special is where it takes place. Imagine watching your favorite band with a medieval town behind them, surrounded by forests and hills. It’s chill, friendly, and much more intimate than some of the giant mega-festivals out there.
Also, the Taubertal team puts a strong focus on sustainability, which means great vibes with a smaller footprint. Expect to find reusable cups, green camping options, and a lot of love for the earth.
If you haven’t grabbed your ticket yet, now’s the time — camping spots are popular and tickets are flying fast. Whether you’re going with your mates or on your own, Taubertal Festival is one of those festivals you’ll be talking about even when summer’s gone.
